How to Consign
If you are unsure please call ahead and we'll gladly give you some insights on the checking in procedures.
Bring Items to Meridian Equipment
Your Items will be given a lot number
Fill Out Consignor Form with Name, Address, Phone Number Accurately. This is where the check is sent.
Call ahead that last 2 weeks before the sale as we do become full and do not accept consignments.
We Do Not Accept the Following
- Nonoperational lawn and garden equipment
- Nonoperational power tools
- Buckets w/ unknown contents
- Mis-matched or worn out tires
- Oils, paints, chemicals, aerosol's, etc.
- Electronics and household items
- Exercise equipment
- Anything else Meridian Equipment deems unsalable or hazardous
We Reserve the Right to refuse any consignment
It is the consignee's responsibility to have items packaged and arranged in an orderly fashion when consigned. This helps increase sale value. Items not packaged appropriately for photos and requiring additional sorting are subject to additional fees.
DO NOT Procrastinate as the auction lot does become full and we do refuse consignments. Call ahead the last week at that point you will need prior permission. During check in fill out consignment form completely and accurately with name, address and phone number. This is where payment will be sent to. Meridian Equipment is not responsible for locating consignees who do not provide accurate information.
The deadline to have your consignment in the print advertising is 2 weeks ahead of the auction. Meridian Equipment uses it years of experience to determine which items best represents the auction and its audience.
Fees paid by the consignor will be deducted from the selling price of each item. Please call for consignment fee schedules.
On consigned items selling for less than $10.00 there will be no payment. The $10.00 minimum applies to each individual consigned item. Items selling for $10.00 or more will be charged commission rates as described above
No Sale Fee
Any consigned item receiving "no bids" will be subject to a $10.00 handling fee per item. Any tire receiving "no bids" is subject to a $20.00 handling fee.
If the consignee wishes to protect an item it is the responsibility of the consignee to "buy back" the item on the day of the auction. Meridian Equipment will not set minimums for consigned items.
A Fee of $100 will be assessed for buy back items as followed
If a cosigned item fails to sell during the auction. It is the consignor's responsibility to pick up the item within 30 days of the auction. If the consignor fails to do so the item will become property of Meridian Equipment. In that event Meridian Equipment may resale, dispose or otherwise remove the item from its premises. Disposal fees may be charged to the consignee in the event of excess or costly removal.
We accept payment by check, cash, all major credit and debit cards wire transfer. Payments by credit/debit card are subject to 5% buyers premium to cover processing fees. Wire transfers subject to $35.00 fee.
10% Buyers Premium on all purchases up to $5,000.
All payments due within 3 days of auction closing or per terms listed on each auction. If payment is not received by due date registered card will be charged and subject to processing fees.
Buyer is responsible for arranging all shipping/pickup during the hours specified for each auction.
Items must be picked up within 2 weeks following the auction. If they are not picked up and paid for within 30 days they become property of Meridian Equipment and will be sold for storage costs.
Consigners must released titles prior to start of auction.
Titled purchases are subject to $75.00 title transfer fee.
Title transfers are done for title purpose only. Buyers are responsible for obtaining proper registration for their purchases.
All item are sold AS IS WHERE IS. Preview and testing is available during business hours before the auction. Please inspect items closely before bidding.
Online bids are not reversible. Please confirm all bids before bidding.

Purchases can be paid for by cash, bankable check or Visa/Mastercard
There is a 5% buyers premium on all credit/debit card transactions
Items on Meridian Equipment CO. Inc property become the responsibility of the winning bidder immediately after the sale is completed. Meridian Equipment is not responsible for stolen, misplaced or otherwise lost property.

*Failure to comply with the rules and procedures will result in the customer being removed from the auction and future auctions. Unruly customers will be removed from the auction. Failure to pay within a timely manner will result in forfeiture of items and removal from future actions.
